Even though it's late summer on Don Meeker's Rocky Mountain Line layout, Big Swede Creek is still full of cold rushing water from the melt ing snow fields in the Rocky Mountains high above. The tracks of the Rocky Mountain Line use the val ley formed by this creek to make their passage possible up through the Front Range of the Rockies.
