Dog Tooth Mountain Railroads sawmill is devoted almost entirely to making ties. Long before the days of fiberboard, the sawdust and bark burner is as busy as the mill. Each rain barrel on the catwalk has a hose hanging down inside the mill just in case. No small fire will ever get to be a big one in there.
