Mark Sharp and Larry Puckett teamed up to model a total of seven different Seaboard Air Line E units including E4A 3011 with its shovel-nose and E7A 3040 (above) with its replacement steel side panels. All of the models, an E4A&B set, two E7A&B sets and an E8A unit were done in SALs mint green scheme. Their article this month, which starts on page 32, covers the prototype E units on the SAL. In next months issue, they turn their attention toward modeling their fleet of detailed and modified Life-Like Proto 2000 units. Photo by Larry Puckett and Mark Sharp.
