SANTA FE PLAZA : W hen y ou r ead t his, c onstruction p rob ab ly will b e u nderway o n W est B roadway Tower, a 29-story, 450 ,000square -foot office b uilding a t Pacific H ighway a nd B roadway a cross from t he S ant a F e D epot. This building is t he fi r st p h a se of S anta F e Plaza , a d eve lopment t hat will eventually cover a bout 17 a cres a nd offer n e arly four million s quare f eet of office, r e tail a nd h otel s pace . The c ompany h andling t he w ork , Catellus Development Corporation, formerly k nown a s S anta Fe Realty, e xpects W est B roadway Tower t o b e c ompleted b y late 1992. Included in t h e plan is a seven-level, 781-car p arking g arage . Catellus h opes t he g arage will attract b oth A mtrak a nd Trolley c ommuters .
