  • Forums At TrainLife.com

We’ve recently had a lot of questions and comments about forums on TrainLife.com. Rest assured, your voice is being heard. TrainLife has recently enabled a Group Discussion feature to allow users to engage in discussions and share specific photos, thoughts, and ideas all geared toward a specific group, topic, and community.

The Discussion feature of TrainLife Groups works just like forums, allowing and promoting online discussions, posted messages, and threads.

As many of you know, forums remain a controversial subject, and as such, it is important that all TrainLife Discussions remain professional, courteous, and above the fray. Use TrainLife’s Group Discussion feature to your advantage – share knowledge, help others, and spread the word about the world’s greatest hobby!

Additionally, users have requested the ability to locate specific information or people on TrainLife.com. We’ve listened and improved our search functionality. TrainLife now provides users a search feature in the top right corner of the web page, allowing you to search for any user by name or any subject, topic, article, keyword, and much more. Our search feature is extensive and will help you locate exactly what you’re looking for.

To search for contents appearing in Railmodel Journal, you’ll need to select the “Magazines” tab and conduct a separate search. At this time, the two search engines are not connected.

TrainLife is dedicated to the train and model railroading community. We sincerely hope the above changes and information have been helpful. Let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

John Pestana For the list of members we only have the ability to search. I was able to up the number of members displayed on the left column to 24. That should help see who is online.
