For Immediate Release
January 24, 2011
“This is an exciting time for ExactRail, and I am both pleased and excited to continue building value to one of the industry’s newest and strongest brands,” Pestana said.
Retiring CEO, Clune, will continue to be a source of inspiration and direction for ExactRail’s precision product development team.
“John is a proven leader and an icon of entrepreneurship,” said Clune. “John will do an excellent job of continuing to build ExactRail into the finest price-performance-based model railroad company in the industry.”
Prior to ExactRail, Pestana was the co-founder of Omniture, a software company based in Orem, Utah. Pestana helped build and grow Omniture to become a company of more than 1,200 employees. Omniture went from a student-run business to a worldwide, publicly traded company in 2006. In November 2009, Omniture was sold to software giant Adobe for 1.8 billion dollars.
