  • 17th Annual RPM Naperville Meet

(Naperville, IL) – It’s more than a show, it’s a meet. And it’s the perfect way to spend a weekend meeting fellow hobbyists, exploring new skills and techniques, learning from others, viewing the work of colleagues, and giving your ego and hobby a boost.

The 2010 Railroad Prototype Modelers (RPM) Naperville Meet, sponsored by Sunshine Models & Proto Power West/A-Line was held this year from October 21-24 at the Holiday Inn Select in Naperville, IL.

Railroad Prototype Modelers are dedicated to promoting the prototype modeling of all eras, developing greater knowledge and understanding of prototype railroading, and nurturing and increasing the exchange and sharing of both prototype and modeling information among modelers.

This year’s program had a full slate of accomplished speakers covering a wide range of topics, including a lunch presentation by Bob Hundman, former editor of Mainline Modeler; a Photoshop clinic by Jack Burgess; a dinner presentation by Philip Weibler and his classic photographs; a review of the history of the trucking industry by Mont Switzer, and a complimentary buffet dinner hosted by Ron and Sue Sebastian of Des Plaines Hobbies.
