24x27 spanners are glued up (held with clothe pins) with spacers between them, then cut to four inch long for curverd sections., cut on miter saw at 4 degrees on each end for curves, but the first on is cut at 2 degrees, gives a slight transition into the curve. Clothes pins are fantastic for builds as they can be shaped to fit the job and used to glue up the curve. Below that is the stained wood, kinda like a spochey look, to me gives a bit of contrast
Bottom are two bents 18x18 with 3x8 cross brace
