Steve Neubaum's Album: What 35 dollars bought at a swap meet

A friend of mine went up to Racine (Wisconsin) to the Roma Lodge, where they hold a monthly train show during fall and winter months. This was what 35 dollars got me. Both locos run pretty well, that Tyco has a Powertorque motor that is surprisingly smooth and silent with a minor work.

Mark Charles I don't recall whether Burlington or Wabash initiated this design.

Steve Neubaum Burlington did have similar, but Bachmann's caboose is a very close model of it. Wabash had one closer, but with different windows. Tyco's model is actually a Pennsylvania Railroad N-8 with the cupola offset to one side and a window moved.
